Responsibilities of the Elders:
The Elders are responsible for presiding at the communion table with meditation and prayer. Sources for communion meditation can be found in the booklet Daily Bread or online at Christian Standard or any other free online meditation sites. You are also responsible for delivering communion to shut-ins and the hospital. The communion you to take is in the communion kitchen right behind the Narthex. If you are unable to serve on your day, please get a substitue or talk with your paired Elder.

Responsibilities of the Diaconate:
The Diaconate is responsible for passing the offeriing plate down the pew rows and bringing the collected plates up front during the Doxology. A Lay Leader from the Diaconate will be assigned to do offering meditation and prayer. Meditations may be found online at Center For Faith and Giving under worship. You are also responsible for delivering communion to the nursing homes. The communion and listings of the nursing homes is found in the communion kitchen which is behind the Narthex. If you are unable to serve on your day, please get a substitute.

Responsibilities of the Associate Diaconate:
The Associate Diaconate is responsible for greeting people and passing out communion and bulletin by the sanctuary door. Also, you should pick up used communion cups and any extra litter in the pews along with the bread and juice on the alter after the service. Your last repsonsibility is to take out the top page of each attendance book in the pews, date the new page for the next Sunday and put the pages you took out on the secretary desk. If you are unable to serve on your day, please get a substitute.
