Christian Men's Fellowship

(CMF)

The CMF meets the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall for breakfast. The main purpose is to extend warm welcome to the men of the community and of our church, to enjoy each other's fellowship, and share our faith journey with one another. Our meetings are non-denominational and all are welcome to attend.

Our main fundraiser is our "Fish Fry" which is always held the second Friday in October. We serve over 350 lbs. of fish and 300 lbs. of potatoes. Our greatest challenge is to serve over 600 people in two (2) hours. For the past few years, this has been a drive-thru event. The funds derived from this event are used for donations to the community and several other worthwhile causes. In the past, we have donated time and money for such events as the Block Party, art programs, music programs, swim team, Detroit Rippling Hope Missions, and camp scholarships for Walter Scott Camp, among others.
