"And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it."
(1 Peter 3:15 NLT)
That verse is my responsibility.
1 Peter 3:15 is not merely a command to preach; it is a call to live a life so profoundly impacted by grace that it prompts curiosity.
It challenges us to move beyond a passive "feeling" of faith to a robust, reason-based confidence in what Jesus has done.
When we are asked about our hope, we are invited to share the "orchestrated plan" God is playing out in our lives.
It is a realization that in a chaotic, self-seeking world, God is Lovingly bringing peace and joy out of uncertainty. This perspective requires us to look past the surface-level noise and intentionally notice the good-the living, growing evidence of God's grace that still exists around us.
Ultimately, these thoughts reminds me that my anchor and prayerfully yours is not in the fleeting things of this world.
My true hope is secured in my ultimate home, allowing me to live with peace, regardless of my current circumstances.
Heavenly Father,
I come before you, Thanking You for the firm foundation of Hope You've giving me in Jesus Christ. Lord, Open my eyes wider to see more of the orchestrated plan You have designed, realizing that even in this chaotic world, You are crafting peace and joy. Give me the vision to look past the noise and recognize the good that is still growing, witnessing Your goodness in the land of the living.
Root my heart in the truth that my ultimate hope is not of this world, but in You. Let this assurance make me bold, ready, and gently in sharing Your Love to All.
In Jesus' Name, I pray,
Amen.
